TRB will conduct a webinar on Monday, April 2, 2018, from 2:00PM to 3:30PM ET that discusses the current use and future implementation of airport surface management tools as they relate to operational efficiency and delay reduction. The efficiency of surface movement is a key component to maintain the operational flow and to consistently realize the full capacity of the airfield and surrounding airspace at many congested large hub airports.  Along with other data exchange technologies to support gate-to-gate operations, the current and evolving surface management tools are being integrated with the Next Generation Air Transportation System.

This webinar was organized by the TRB Standing Committee on Airfield and Airspace Capacity and Delay.

This webinar is sponsored by TRB’s Airport Cooperative Research Program. There is no fee to attend this webinar; however, sign into MyTRB.org to view registration information.
