TRB will conduct a webinar on Monday, July 23, 2018, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM ET that discusses how port authorities are using data portals to make current, actionable information available to the shipping community and the broader supply chain. In the past, port authority websites offered basic statistics about port performance.  Newer data portals provide container status and availability, vessel schedules, chassis supply status, and other information that may lead to efficient operating decisions. The presenters will provide an overview of port data portals and cover data portal projects at the Ports of New York and New Jersey, Los Angeles, and Long Beach.

This webinar was organized by the TRB Standing Committee on Ports and Channels.

Some registrants will need to pay $55 to attend this webinar.  Sign into MyTRB.org to view registration information.
