The U.S. Federal Highway Administration’s Manual on Uniform Traffic Devices (MUTCD) is the gold standard for designing and installing traffic signs, road markings, and signals. But how do roundabouts fit into the MUTCD? TRB is hosting a webinar on Monday, April 13 from 2:00 to 3:30 PM Eastern that will answer this question. Presenters will identify where someone can find the relevant standards, options, and policies related to roundabouts within the Manual. They will also describe the numerous changes and new content that will likely be incorporated into the next version of the MUTCD. This webinar will also discuss how the National Committee on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (NCUTCD) determines the standards for traffic control.

For approved webinars, TRB’s webinar program awards Registered Continuing Education Provider (RCEP) Professional Development Hour (PDH) credits associated with participation only to the registered individual and not to other members of a group that view the webinar together.
