How do cyclists use different bicycling facilities? Do certain facilities encourage more bicycle trips? TRB is hosting a webinar on Monday, August 31, 2020 from 2:00 to 3:30 PM Eastern that will discuss how current and potential cyclists perceive different types of facilities, and will identify how to quantify bicycle trips as a result of implementing bicycle facilities. The presenter will describe a study that takes place in the southeastern United States, where bicycling is less prevalent than in other regions.

This webinar draws on research from the National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) Research Report 941: Bicyclist Facility Preferences and Effects on Increasing Bicycle Trips.

Some registrants will need to pay $95 to attend this webinar. Sign into MyTRB.org to view registration information.
