How important is it for airports and public agencies to collaborate? TRB is hosting a webinar on Thursday, February 18, 2021 from 2:00 to 3:30 PM Eastern that will discuss these collaboration efforts. Public-use airports, metropolitan planning organizations, and local land-use/ transportation planning agencies all have independent yet interrelated planning processes. Presenters will provide examples of collaborative partnering among airport and surface transportation planning organizations. They will share case studies of where such planning has occurred and lessons learned from these experiences. Presenters will also introduce a self-assessment tool that allows managers and staff to identify current challenges with collaborative planning and strategies to enhance it.

The webinar features research from ACRP Report 216: Guidebook for Assessing Collaborative Planning Efforts Among Airport and Public Planning Agencies.

This webinar is sponsored by the Airport Cooperative Research Program. There is no fee to attend this webinar; however, sign into MyTRB.org to view registration information.
