Emergencies can happen in airports. TRB hosted a webinar on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 from 1:00 to 2:30 PM Eastern that discussed a tool to create a plan for dealing with airport emergencies. The online Airport Emergency Plan (AEP) Development Tool produces airport-specific AEPs in a format consistent with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)'s 150/5200-31C advisory circular. Presenters described the tool, which provides a user-friendly, sequential, and interactive format to create the plan. They conducted a live demonstration of the tool’s features, functionality and capabilities.

The webinar features research from ACRP WebResource 9: Airport Emergency Plan Development Tool.

The slides and recording of the webinar are available.

Webinar agenda and presenters:

  1. Tool objectives and tool revision: Scott Corzine, B. Riley Advisory Services
  2. Live demo: Austin Bandoian, B. Riley Advisory Services

The first 60 minutes of the webinar will be for presentations and the final 30 minutes will be reserved for audience questions.
