Social media (SM) has become a crucial tool for connecting organizations to their customers. TRB hosted a webinar on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 from 2:00 to 3:30 PM Eastern that explored how social media can be integrated into emergency management (EM) at airports. Presenters discussed how integrating SM into EM planning can help provide improved situational awareness and reduce the time it takes to return to normal operations. They provided information for large hubs and general aviation airports.

The webinar features research from ACRP WebResouce 8: Integrating Social Media with Emergency Management at Airports.
