Low-Density Cellular Concrete (LDCC) use has seen quite a rise among a multitude of transportation projects. TRB will host a webinar on Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 1:00-3:00 PM Eastern that will discuss the current uses and design techniques of LDCC. Presenters will examine how utilizing LDCC can speed up overall construction schedules and reduce costs.

This webinar was organized by the Standing Technical Committee on Transportation Earthworks.

The first 90 minutes of the webinar will be for presentations and the final 30 minutes will be reserved for audience questions.

At the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe how to use LDCC to increase road elevation and test LDCC backfill
  2. Identify current design methods of LDCC

Professional engineers (PEs) who register and attend the entire webinar as an individual will be awarded 2.0 Professional Development Hours (PDHs). TRB’s webinar program awards PDH credits only to the registered individual, and not to other members of a group that view the webinar together. To be eligible for the credits, individuals must remain signed in for the entire webinar, including for any question and answer session following the presentations.
