What technologies can bridge owners use to expedite inspections? TRB hosted a webinar on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 from 2-3:30 p.m. Eastern that identified several types of Robot-Enabled Sensing and Augmented Learning tools for bridge inspections. Presenters discussed remote sensing, nondestructive evaluation, and augmented learning through virtual reality and artificial intelligence. They identified how to effectively measure robot-based bridge inspections and discuss the capabilities and limitations of robot-enabled bridge inspection tools.
