With the shift toward transportation network companies and the eventual adoption of autonomous vehicles, airports have to rethink parking revenues. TRB is hosting a webinar on Thursday, April 7, 2022, from 1:30 to 3:00 PM Eastern that will identify alternatives for non-aeronautical revenue streams. Presenters will discuss methods for estimating future parking needs in an environment of uncertainty. They will also illustrate approaches for repurposing existing parking facilities to generate replacement revenue, and identify strategies and technologies that are available today to help airports maintain or enhance net parking revenues.
The webinar features research from ACRP Research Report 225: Rethinking Airport Parking Facilities to Protect and Enhance Non-Aeronautical Revenues.
