Passengers and potential passengers have higher expectations for transit services given the increased number of mobility options available today. Microtransit can help meet those expectations while expanding the transit services currently offered. TRB hosted a webinar on Monday, December 12, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM Eastern that explored how microtransit has been successfully implemented to improve the rider experience. Presenters shared ways to transform mobility and discussed public-private partnerships that can improve mobility.

This webinar is based on TCRP Research Report 188: Shared Mobility and the Transformation of Public Transit, TRCP Research Report 221: Redesigning Transit Networks for the New Mobility Future, and TCRP Synthesis 141: Microtransit or General Public Demand-Response Transit Services: State of the Practice.

This webinar was sponsored by the TRB Standing Committee on Innovative Public Transportation Services and Technologies.

The slides and recording are available.
