Electronic ticketing is a paperless process for producing, distributing, sorting, recording, and archiving materials tickets for highway construction projects. Are you ready to implement e-ticketing but don’t know where to start? TRB hosted a webinar on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 Eastern that explored how several public agencies got started in e-ticketing from self-assessing, to prioritizing competitive initiatives, and finally developing an action plan. In addition to learning about public agencies that have embarked on the journey, presenters shared an update from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) on e-ticketing.

This webinar is based on NCHRP Synthesis 545: Electronic Ticketing of Materials for Construction Management.

This webinar was sponsored by TRB’s Standing Technical Committee of Concrete Pavement Construction and Rehabilitation.

The slides and recording are available.
