A public-private partnership (P3) can aid infrastructure owners in achieving a range of objectives on projects. TRB’s Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP) has developed a guidebook to help airport decision-makers develop strategies and capabilities for achieving successful implementation of privatization. TRB hosted a webinar on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM Eastern that will explore the findings of ACRP Research Report 227: Evaluating and Implementing Airport Privatization and Public-Private Partnerships. Presenters discussed how to assess preparedness, considerations for selecting a privatization model, and best practices in implementation. Presenters also shared tools to assist decision-makers— a Comparative Deal Matrix database and a P3 Readiness Assessment.
