TRB conducted a webinar on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 from 2:00 to 3:30 PM ET that featured research from the National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP)’s Report 828: Guidelines for Nighttime Visibility of Overhead Signs. This report proposes guidelines for overhead sign visibility at night, and is formatted as a potential replacement for the current Chapter 10, Roadway Sign Lighting, in the 2005 AASHTO Roadway Lighting Design Guide.

Participants must register in advance of the webinar, and there is a fee for non-TRB Sponsor or non-TRB Sustaining Affiliate employees. A certificate for 1.5 Professional Development Hours (PDHs) will be provided to attendees who register and attend the webinar as an individual.

Contact Reggie Gillum at RGillum@nas.edu for instructions on receiving a copy of the recorded webinar.

The slides are available.
