TRB will conduct a webinar on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, from 2:00PM to 3:30PM ET that features research from TRB’s Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP) Report 93: Operational and Business Continuity Planning for Prolonged Airport Disruptions and Synthesis 78: Continuity of Operations Planning for Small Airports. The research provides insight into business planning to prepare for disruptive or irregular airport operations. This webinar will describe how to adopt a plan for sustained operational resiliency in the face of disruptions and the ways to evaluate and measure the effectiveness of such a plan. The presenters will also discuss both business continuity planning (BCP) and continuity of operations planning (COOP) and will identify how these can be effectively applied to smaller airports.
Participants must register in advance of the webinar, and there is no fee associated with this webinar. This webinar will provide 1.5 Continuing Education Units for Accredited Airport Executives.
