Pavement preservation can be achieved in several ways, one of which is sealing cracks. TRB hosted a webinar on Monday, February 24, from 2:00 to 3:30 PM Eastern that explored better crack sealing projects. The presenters introduced key definitions and processes for crack sealing. They also recommended project selection methods and identify key steps in the crack seal process. The webinar also discussed what an inspector should look for to get a quality job, and determine how crack sealing may fit into an agency’s preservation program.

This webinar was organized by the TRB Standing Committee on Pavement Preservation.

The slides and a recording are available.
