Collecting and sharing operations and safety data is essential to an airport’s risk management process. TRB hosted a webinar on Monday, August 9 from 1:00 to 2:30 PM Eastern that discussed how to benchmark and monitor data trends. The webinar also explored how to share operations and safety data and explained why sharing this data is necessary for risk-based decision-making. Presenters identified operations and safety data sources, explained how the data can mitigate risk, and discussed the challenges associated with collecting and sharing information with other stakeholders.

The webinar features research from ACRP Research Report 222: Collecting and Sharing of Operations and Safety Data.
