TRB will conduct a webinar on Thursday, October 11, 2018, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM ET that features research from the Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP)’s Synthesis 88: Airport Community, Water Quality Events, and the Aircraft Drinking Water Rule.

The synthesis explores how airports, airlines, ground service providers, and ice and food caterers, as well as other food service establishments, can take measures to ensure that their operations have safe drinking water. Airport management fills a critical role by minimizing the time it takes to notify airport tenants and distribute essential information about a drinking water quality event. This webinar will discuss how drinking water quality events can trigger a spiral of operational challenges for the airports, airlines, and other tenants. The presenters will also discuss the importance of having standard operating procedures in place.

This webinar is sponsored by the Airport Cooperative Research Program. There is no fee to attend this webinar; however, sign into MyTRB.org to view registration information.
