TRB will conduct a webinar on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM ET that features research from the Transit Cooperative Research Program (TCRP)’s Research Report 204: Partnerships Between Transit Agencies and Transportation Network Companies (TNCs).
This research is designed to help transit agencies that have decided to pursue partnerships with one or more TNCs. This report draws from twenty case study partnerships explored or implemented by early 2018 in order to provide information on where, when, and how partnerships between transit agencies and TNCs may be considered and pursued. While partnerships between transit agencies and private mobility providers are not new, partnerships with TNCs create unique opportunities and challenges as both parties work toward mutually beneficial program models.
The presenters will discuss the findings related to common motivations, target markets, partnership designs, and case study highlights. They will also provide specific, practical guidance for transit agencies considering partnerships with TNCs.
This webinar is sponsored by the Transit Cooperative Research Program. There is no fee to attend this webinar; however, sign into MyTRB.org to view registration information.
