Airport personnel are invited to a TRB webinar on Thursday, November 7, 2019, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM ET. The webinar features research from the Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP) Research Report 197: Guidebook for Developing a Comprehensive Renewable Resources Strategy.

This webinar will discuss several renewable energy resources, offer guidance on strategic plan development, and outline several metrics that analyze the success of renewable energy projects at airports. With improved financial feasibility of renewable energy, airports have begun to implement renewable energy infrastructure. Presenters will go through the tools and resources created for the guidebook and show how they apply to real-world scenarios. The tools outlined in the guidebook may enable the inclusion of a renewable energy strategy into airport master plans.
