The worldwide coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has profoundly affected the health and economies of the United States and the world. TRB hosted a webinar on Monday, March 8, 2021 from 2:00-3:30 PM Eastern that explored the pandemic’s effect on transportation. Presenters discussed visualizations of where these impacts have been especially notable, including the drastic reduction in road and air traffic and in public transit ridership during early days of the pandemic. They provided perspectives from the local, state, and international levels.

This webinar was organized by the TRB Standing Committee on Visualization in Transportation.

The slides and recording are available.
