Joint development is real estate development that occurs on transit agency property or through some other type of development transaction to which the transit agency is a party. TRB hosted a webinar on Thursday, September 2, from 2:00 to 3:30 PM Eastern that provided guidelines encouraging transit agencies to embrace joint development. Presenters described what the guide contains and how to use it. They will also identify current practices and explain the benefits of joint development.

The webinar features research from TCRP Research Report 224: Guide to Joint Development for Public Transportation Agencies.

This webinar is sponsored by the Transit Cooperative Research Program. There is no fee to attend this webinar; however, sign into MyTRB.org to view registration information.

The slides are available, as is the recorded webinar.
