Advanced ground vehicle technologies (AGVT) deployed in surface transportation have demonstrated improvements in safety and efficiency, including potential applications for airside operations. What do travelers think about these experiences? TRB is hosting a webinar on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 1:00 to 2:30 PM Eastern that will illustrate these technologies. Presenters will identify sample applications and discuss an evaluation process that an airport may use when considering a potential AGVT for implementation.

The webinar features research from ACRP Research Report 219: Advanced Ground Vehicle Technologies for Airside Operations.

This webinar is sponsored by the Airport Cooperative Research Program. There is no fee to attend this webinar; however, sign into to register.

Webinar agenda and presenters:

  2. Evaluation framework: Sarah Hubbard, Purdue University
  3. Additional resources: Adam Baxmeyer, Purdue University
