Innovations in data integration have the potential to revolutionize bridge foundation design. TRB hosted a webinar on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from 1:00-2:30 PM Eastern that discussed how to use data to improve bridge foundation load testing, which can lead to a more resilient transportation structure system. Presenters described a method for applying loads at a foundation’s top without the need for a reaction system. They also identified the importance of data and how to integrate it within foundation load testing.

This webinar is sponsored by the TRB Standing Technical Committee on Foundations of Bridges and Other Structures.

The slides and recording are available.

Webinar agenda and presenters
