Airports have several ways to respond to emergencies. TRB is hosting a webinar on Monday, February 28, 2022, from 2:00 to 3:30 PM Eastern that will discuss how to develop and update an airport emergency plan (AEP). This plan defines stakeholders’ roles and responsibilities during emergencies, identifies specific threats, and establishes communication protocols for the airport community. Presenters will identify how airports of all sizes can implement an AEP to manage hazards and threats, as well as how to address challenges to AEP practices. They will highlight a successful AEP case study.
The webinar features research from ACRP Synthesis Report 115: Practices in Airport Emergency Plans.
