Details

Since the inception of the national commercial motor vehicle safety inspection program, trucks and carriers are inspected manually through a time intensive process. As the landscape changes and newer technologies, such as autonomous vehicles (AVs), are tested and implemented, the inspection process of commercial vehicles and their operators must adapt. TRB will host a webinar on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM Eastern that will describe solutions to improve the safety landscape for truck drivers presented by three commercial motor vehicle safety experts.

This webinar is sponsored by the TRB Standing Technical Committee on Truck and Bus Safety.

The slides are available. Please contact trbwebinar@nas.edu for a link to the recording. There may be a $50 fee.
