Bridge management is about the selection and evaluation of strategies for comprehensive management of bridges and structures. The 2019 Transportation Asset Management Plan (TAMP) processes include little documentation on bridge management systems (BMS) for state departments of transportation (DOTs). TRB will host a webinar on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM Eastern that will present the findings from a national scan aiming to help identify common features and approaches agencies are using to successfully implement systems within their TAMPs. Presenters will share the current uses and challenges of BMS in strategic asset management and in TAMP processes.
This webinar is based on NCHRP Project 20-68A, Scan 20-01: Successful Approaches to Utilizing Bridges Management Systems for Strategic Decision Making in Asset Management Plans.
