Digital Construction Management (DCM) builds on emerging and existing technologies and techniques to enhance safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of highway construction. Transportation agencies looking to deploy DCM have partners and resources for success. TRB hosted a webinar on Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM Eastern that shared proven DCM configurations and organizational characteristics that demonstrate institutional readiness to adopt and implement DCM.
This webinar featured research from NCHRP Domestic Scan 22-02: Experiences in the Use of Digital Construction Management in the Highway Industry.

The first 60 minutes of the webinar were for presentations and the final 30 minutes were reserved for audience questions.

  • Describe NCHRP’s Domestic Scan Program as well as the objectives and outcomes from Domestic Scan 22-02
  • Identify early applications of fully remote uncrewed aerial systems for departments of transportation
  • Find and apply for ADCMS grants
