Would peer-to-peer (P2P) carsharing affect your airport’s revenue, operations, safety, and facilities? TRB hosted a webinar on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM Eastern that provided an overview of trends and best practices for practitioners seeking to better manage and accommodate P2P operations at their airports. Presenters shared findings from recent research and case studies and offered guidance on accommodating P2P activity in ways that reflect sound business practices. Presenters also discussed the impacts on terminal curbsides and parking facilities as well as considerations for stakeholders, security, vehicle handoff locations, and overall P2P facility needs.
This webinar was based on ACRP Research Report 274: Accommodating Peer-to-Peer Carsharing at Airports: A Guide.
This webinar was sponsored by TRB’s Airport Cooperative Research Program.
