TRID helps researchers locate solutions to problems, avoid duplication of work, save resources, and satisfies Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) requirements to consult TRB’s TRIS Databases to identify ongoing or previously completed research on a given topic. TRB will host a webinar on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM Eastern that will explain why TRID is the single best place to start your transportation research. Attendees will learn how to start with a broad or basic keyword search and learn to use the specific features to refine the results. Precision search tools will be covered, and attendees will know how to share or export the most relevant results they've identified.
