trong>The Transit Capacity and Quality of Service Manual (TCQSM) helps improve public transportation through evaluating service quality from the passenger point of view; measuring and forecasting the capacity, speed, and reliability of transit modes; and sizing elements of transit stops and stations. TRB will host a webinar on Thursday, September 17, 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM Eastern that will provide a high-level overview of how the manual can be used in common transit planning, operations, and design applications, and will highlight new and updated content since the last publication in 2013. Presenters will introduce companion analysis tools and training resources that can be used in conjunction with the manual.

This webinar is sponsored by TRB’s Transit Cooperative Research Program.
