AI agents are expanding what artificial intelligence can do by performing multi-step tasks and interacting with external systems. These capabilities create new opportunities for transportation professionals to apply AI to complex planning, data, and modeling challenges. TRB will host a webinar on Thursday, October 22, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM Eastern that will introduce agentic AI and explore its potential applications in transportation. Presenters will share a framework for agentic transportation systems and demonstrate applications for personalized trip planning, data augmentation, and travel behavior modeling.

Professional engineers (PEs) who register and attend the entire webinar as an individual will be awarded 1.5 Professional Development Hours (PDHs).
