Non-intrusive equipment can be a safer, more cost-effective, and efficient approach to collect critical traffic data while minimizing roadway disruptions and safety risks. TRB will host a webinar on Thursday, November 12, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM Eastern that will explore the effective use of this equipment for portable and permanent traffic data collection programs and signalized intersection monitoring applications. Presenters from different implementation areas will discuss practical applications, operational considerations, data quality, maintenance needs, and lessons learned from field deployments. Attendees will gain insights into selecting and managing technologies to improve traffic data collection and system performance.
This webinar is sponsored by TRB’s Standing Technical Committee on Traffic Monitoring.
The registration fee is $100. Purchase a webinar package for discounted pricing. Complimentary registration is available for employees of TRB sponsors, standing technical committee chairs, involved CRP panel members, media, congressional staff, and TRB or National Academies staff. Visit MyTRB.org for details.
A recording will be sent to all registrants after the webinar.
