As agencies move toward data-driven asset management, integrating sensor data with digital twins enables predictive modeling and more proactive infrastructure decision-making. TRB hosted a webinar on Monday, July 20, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM Eastern that explored how digital twins are being applied to structural testing and evaluation to support predictive modeling and performance-based decision-making. Presenters discussed practical strategies for integrating sensor data, inspection results, and analytical models into digital frameworks that enhance condition assessment and lifecycle management. Speakers addressed the capabilities of structural bridge testing and evaluation. Attendees gained insights into implementation considerations, data interoperability challenges, and opportunities for advancing digital twin applications in transportation infrastructure.
